Weight loss has been a real struggle for me for years. I tried everything, but eventually I gave up. I had a slow metabolism, I had no time for gym (I realize that this may sounds as an excuse, but between my job and my two kids, time was a luxury I couldn’t afford). I tried supplements before, but they didn’t work. But then a friend of mine told me about Slimfy. I didn’t take is seriously, of course, because I thought ‘Been there, done that’. I wasn’t willing to pump my body with God knows what again and again.
The reason I didn’t trust Slimfy was the same reason you don’t trust most of the supplements you find on the market: they all claim to do wonders, but they don’t offer scientific support and most of the time you have no idea what’s in them. I was really surprised to see that Slimfy was different when it comes to this. The product comes with all the information you need. Curious by nature, I started researching the ingredients to see for myself if they really do what they claim. And BAM! There it was. The ingredients were legit. And on top of things, they were all natural.
After doing the proper research, and after reading some Slimfy reviews online, I convinced myself to give supplements another try. However, even if Slimfy doesn’t require for you to change your lifestyle, I decided to make some changes in mine. I wanted to do this right. But the changes were not drastic. I just decreased my sugar intake and gave up entirely on fast food. Oh, I also drank more water. I will reveal later the reason for it.
I decided to share my journey because I am positive there are a lot of people who struggle with the same thing I struggled. I know that there are people who gave up hope that there is a solution for their issue. So, if you are reading this and you find yourself between the lines, please trust me. I’ve been where you are. I felt what you felt when you looked in the mirror or stepped on the scale. I have been you. I got out of this situation by following a 12 week program with Slimfy and I am happy to share this experience with you, step-by-step.
179 pounds. That was the number the scale gave me the morning I started the program. Obviously I stepped down as quickly as I stepped up. I was ashamed and somewhat heart-broken. I knew I was heavy, but the scale scared me so it gathered dust somewhere in a closet. I took it out so I could take notes. Anyway…this was the first step.
It was easy the first 2-3 days. It was the excitement that drove me those days. The same excitement helped me reduce sugar and fast food. I went for the salad instead of the burrito on lunch breaks at work. This part was not so easy because…well…I like burritos.
The cravings started on day 5. I missed my sugar and my burritos. I almost started crying when I smelled a hamburger one of my co-workers had. I wanted one so badly, but eventually I calmed down. I think cravings were the hardest part in the first week. But overall, My body responded to Slimfy. Even though you can’t really tell, the supplements start to work. Slow but steady.
The week turned out to be a success. I needed that. I needed to go through the first week so I can have the courage and the determination to keep on going. And I did.
The first stage of the program is more of a detox program. Your body needs to function properly in order to get results, so the first step is getting rid of all the toxins. This is one of the reasons I gave up on eating so much processed foods. It made sense to me that I shouldn’t put in toxins while detoxing. It would have been insane.
I mentioned at the beginning of this post that at some point I began drinking more water. Why? Because I started to use the bathroom more often. It’s common knowledge that our body expels toxins through urine, so I guess that Slimfy started this detox process by sending me to the bathroom more often. Seeing this effect I started to drink more water.
I read somewhere that the ideal quantity of water is 8 glasses. Ever since I have been carrying with me a water bottle which I refilled constantly. As a bonus, I was more hydrated. Even my skin started to look a lot better. I must mention that the water was filtered. I don’t know if it matters, but that was my decision. You may choose otherwise.
As of Week 2 I started to feel a little bit more energetic, but during the 3rd week my energy levels increased considerably. This effect was more pronounced and I could tell that Slimfy was responsible. I haven’t felt that energetic since I was in my 20s. It was amazing to see that the supplement is working. I was overjoyed.
Also, at the end of the week, I decided to measure my waist to see if it shrank, and guess what? It did. I decided not to weigh myself until the end of the second stage, but I could take measurements. 1,5 inches were off. Just like that. In 3 weeks I lost inches on my waist just by taking Slimfy. I never went hungry. I didn’t run 20 feet. I just took the supplements and paid more attention to what I eat. It’s such a small price for looking and feeling better. This ‘event’ made me feel more determined to continue with the program and going all the way. I couldn’t wait to see what the next stage would bring.
